Porsche Beaverton is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team! As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you must be able to function in a fast-paced environment as our main parts quality control. You will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and documenting all parts inventory. This job requires someone who is comfortable operating a forklift, and doing manual labor (lifting up to 30lbs). If a desk job sounds monotonous, then you will be pleasantly surprised by this role’s variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring all processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of parts shipments, deliveries, and inventory in our tracking systems..
• Organize and store parts in designated locations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Prepare and package parts for shipping, ensuring they are securely and safely packaged.
• Collaborate with parts department personnel to fulfill orders and restock inventory.
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve discrepancies and issues related to shipments.
• Monitor and track shipments, including following up on backorders and managing returns.
• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the parts department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive or logistics training is a plus.
• Previous experience in automotive parts shipping and receiving or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and their components is a strong advantage.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems and inventory management software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts and packages as needed.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required.
