The Asphalt Raker is responsible for leveling asphalt mix using rakes and ensuring the job site is safe and properly maintained. They must coordinate with crew members, operators, and contractors to meet production goals while adhering to safety policies.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with six months to one year of related experience. Candidates should be able to perform physical labor, follow safety regulations, and possess a current driver's license.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Asphalt Raker works with rakes to level the asphalt mix correctly as it leaves the asphalt paving screed and is ready for rolling.
Experience working on a Leeboy Paving Crew preferred.
