Perform all aspects of property maintenance, including preventative, corrective, and emergency repairs to ensure a safe and clean community. Maintain inventory control and assist with apartment move-in and move-out inspections.
Requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of hands-on general maintenance experience at a property with 200+ units. Must have experience in appliance repair and the ability to handle physical demands and on-call shifts.

· Appliance repair
· 2+ years hands-on general maintenance experience (i.e. plumbing, electrical, carpeting, painting, etc.) at a 200+ unit conventional property
· Experience in property management in a maintenance technician role
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies. Ability to effectively present information to Supervisor or Community Manager.

The employee frequently must climb, step on standard ladders while fixing external light fixtures and other high areas. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee must occasionally wear a protective mask, gloves and goggles while cleaning.

Performs various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Supports and aids the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager in all phases of the overall physical maintenance of an income producing property. This includes but is not limited to; the general maintenance of the property, expense control, and adherence to preventive maintenance programs and required state and federal safety programs.
