Assist customers with selecting and purchasing OEM and aftermarket parts while handling inquiries and complaints professionally. Manage inventory pricing, research and order parts, and maintain accurate purchase and sales records.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license, with previous automotive parts industry experience preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and possess basic computer skills.

We are looking for an experienced Parts Counter person to join our team at Stamford Kia. We are a growing dealership that specializes in selling Kia automobiles and providing a wide range of automotive services to customers. As a Counter person, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and helping to promote a positive and up-beat working environment.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time position that pays $20 to $24 per hour, paid bi-weekly. We offer competitive benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and more.
Responsibilities
• Assist customers with selecting and purchasing necessary OEM and aftermarket parts.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Research and order parts as needed.
• Count and price inventory according to specified procedures.
• Keep up-to-date records of parts purchases, sales, and prices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in the Automotive Parts industry preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of automotive parts
• Valid Driver’s License
