We're looking for a Senior Account Manager who thrives on winning new business, building influential client relationships, and delivering commercial outcomes that genuinely help businesses grow.

This is a role for a proven sales professional with a hunter mentality. Someone who enjoys opening doors, challenging thinking, uncovering opportunities and closing deals. You'll spend your time in front of clients, building your network across Canterbury and helping businesses unlock the full power of trusted and iconic Digital and Print media brands such as The Press, The Post, Waikato Times, Sunday Star Times, NZ House and Garden, NZ Farmer & stuff.co.nz, among others.

• Leading with new business development, identifying and converting high-value commercial opportunities across Christchurch and Canterbury.
• Building and executing strategic sales plans to grow your territory and expand Stuff's market presence.
• Developing strong relationships with senior decision makers and becoming their trusted marketing and business partner.
• Creating compelling multi-platform advertising and marketing solutions using Stuff's audience, data, content, events and digital capabilities.
• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to proposal, negotiation and closing.
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts while maintaining a strong focus on new client acquisition.
• Using market intelligence, audience insights and commercial acumen to create winning strategies.
• Representing Stuff across the local business community through networking, events and industry engagement.

• Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify opportunities others miss.
• Confidence engaging with business owners and senior decision makers.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• High levels of resilience, self-motivation and personal accountability.
• The ability to translate business challenges into commercially effective marketing solutions.
• A competitive drive, curiosity and ambition to continually raise the bar.
