We’re hiring a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our NY City Metro and Long Island City area team.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll oversee the successful execution of large-scale repair and restoration projects ranging from approximately $5M to $15M+ in value. You'll be responsible for driving project performance from preconstruction through closeout while serving as a leader, mentor, and trusted partner to clients and project teams.
Successful Impacts Include:
Managing complex self-performed concrete repair and restoration projects
Leading project planning, execution, financial management, and closeout activities
Maintaining full P&L responsibility, forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
Developing and managing project schedules in partnership with field leadership
Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions with support from internal contracts teams
Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating project risks
Collaborating with Estimating and Business Development teams during pursuit and proposal development
Building and maintaining strong relationships with owners, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
Providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Managers, and project teams
Championing STRUCTURAL's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of project management experience within commercial construction, concrete restoration, specialty contracting, or related industries
Proven experience managing projects valued between approximately $5M–$15M
Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, budgeting, and contract administration
Experience leading and developing project teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software
Preferred experience managing projects involving:
Structural concrete repair
Building envelope and façade restoration
Waterproofing systems
Historic restoration
Structural strengthening
Corrosion mitigation and protection systems
