About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Montreal. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Month end financial Statement
• Perform Journal Entries
• Prepare tax remittances (GST/QST, DAS, CNESST, etc.)
• Prepare Payroll & Balance Sheet Reconciliation 
• Analyze financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgeted targets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators.
• Conduct profitability, cost, and operational performance analyses.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management.
• Work closely with accounting, finance, and operational teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal financial regulations
• Participate in year-end audit preparation and support external auditors as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in an accounting and analyst role
• Proficiency with accounting ERP and software (e.g., NetSuite, Business Central, QuickBooks) and reporting tools
• Very Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Familiarity with Quebec and Canadian tax regulations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in French and English
