Job Description Summary
The Senior Key Account Manager is responsible for identifying, managing and growing key accounts in their territory with minimal guidance. The Senior Key Account Manager works independently to engage internal teams to respond to complex customer requirements; acting as a conduit between Sales, RND, PMs and Scientific Marketing. Utilizing methods to create and execute long term strategy that results in executive-level relationship with key accounts is also required in this role, along with strong solution orientated options.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develops and executes long-term revenue growth plan for accounts with effective communication to Key Stakeholders;
Actively gathers and acts upon customer intelligence including regulatory filings and financial statements;
Has increasing insight into customer and target company trends and how these factors affect revenue Recognizes emerging trends in the field and leverages this knowledge to develop commercial insight that lead to product development or licensing collaborations;
Recognized internally and externally as an expert and may act as an ambassador for the company
Has a base level of understanding around product life-cycle/manufacturing as it pertains to STEMCELL's business and client impact in order to develop effective inventory management strategy for Key Accounts
Qualifications:
Typically requires BSc with 3-6 years of sales or research experience or MSc / PHD with 2-4 years of relevant sales experience
Has advanced-level knowledge and skills in the area of expertise, including products, processes, practices, approaches, and technical concepts
Fully competent in scientific concepts appropriate to customer groups for a wide range of STEMCELL products
Eligibility to travel and conduct business activities in China is required, in accordance with China regulations
