Manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure high-quality product production and transport to assembly plants. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to select optimal designs and suppliers.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field with over 10 years of experience in quality or manufacturing. At least 3 years of program management experience is required.
The Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for managing six or more Supplier Quality Engineers who oversee different supplier locations and parts to ensure highquality products are produced and transported to Stellantis Assembly Plants. The Manager will provide support to the team and establish a vision for the group to ensure launch readiness as required, leading up to and including program launch. Supplier site visits and extended engagement at certain locations may be required. The Manager will also be responsible for working cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure proper designs, suppliers, and manufacturing processes are selected. The Manager of the group will play a large role in leading the directives and goals of the team they support and helping evaluate the talent within the organization
