The Academic Dean provides leadership and oversight for all academic operations, ensuring excellence in curriculum, teaching, and accreditation compliance. They are responsible for faculty supervision, student success initiatives, and the implementation of strategic academic goals established by the Dean.
Candidates must hold a current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license and a Master's degree in Nursing, with a doctoral degree preferred. A minimum of five to seven years of experience in nursing and nursing education is required, along with expertise in accreditation and curriculum development.
Specialized knowledge and skills in education and curriculum development. General knowledge in nursing practice required. Participates in orientation and continuing education with additional experience as a nurse educator. Updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
Special Equipment, skills, and other requirements: Written and oral communication skills, interpersonal, motivational and conflict resolution skills. Team building and administrative skills. Broad based knowledge of related regulatory compliance requirements. Organizational skills including time management and customer service oriented.

Supervises: Accreditation Coordinator, Student Success Coordinator, Supervisor for CLL, Faculty, Administrative Assistant.
Pay Range: $120,640.00 - $162,448.00
