The Quality Program Manager leads clinical quality improvement initiatives and leverages data to standardize care and improve patient outcomes. They collaborate with executive leaders and clinical teams to ensure regulatory compliance and drive system-wide performance excellence.
The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least three years of relevant professional experience. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with clinical and operational staff.
Job Highlights:
This role will be a mix of meetings, (prep, lead and attend) along with preparing data, pulling reports from external and internal sources, preparing reports, patient level chart reviews, educate individuals and teams.
Job Summary:
Leads quality and clinical improvement in partnership with system, region, and ministry clinical teams. Leverages various data sources to provide in-depth insights and serve as a resource for others on specific areas of expertise. Works with executive leaders, clinicians and other staff in the development and implementation of strategies to identify and reduce risks, improve quality and safety, and meet regulatory requirements.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Leads quality improvement initiatives using clinical data to standardize care, reduce variation, and improve clinical outcomes.
Implements and refines quality initiatives aligned with executive direction, KPIs, and external benchmarking.
Develops and aligns quality strategies across programs while supporting system and regional priorities.
Prepares and presents updates and analysis on external quality ratings and ranking programs relevant to the organization.
Builds collaborative relationships with providers, teams, and executive leaders; provides education, shares best practices, and supports adoption of improvements.
Serves as a clinical and systems resource, supporting executive leaders and facilitating Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) and external quality reporting as applicable.
Performs other duties as assigned.
