The Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing department safety, throughput, and quality while managing daily staff assignments and production schedules. They also assist in financial reporting, personnel development, and ensuring compliance with company work instructions.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in warehousing or operations and the ability to operate a sit-down forklift. Strong interpersonal skills, basic math proficiency, and computer literacy in Microsoft Office are required for this role.
The Team Lead is responsible for the safety, throughput, and quality of the department. This is accomplished by ensuring all associates in the department have the skills, and knowledge to work safely and efficiently in meeting all customer requirements. The Team Lead is responsible for assisting in projections, reports, and continuous improvements for the department in order to meet the financial goals of the Company.
The hours for the position are as follows:
Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday. OT may be required depending on business needs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed mostly in an uncontrolled atmosphere; will be exposed to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures. The Operations Team Lead will be required to stand/walk 80% of the workday and sit 20% of the workday. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis is required. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear All employees are required to follow safety standards, adhere to Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
