The teacher will develop and implement Mandarin immersion lesson plans while ensuring the safety and supervision of elementary students. Responsibilities also include assisting with homework, organizing activities, and maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom environment.
Candidates must be fluent in both English and Mandarin and possess a high school diploma or GED. Prior experience working with children is preferred, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary range: $32-36 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm-6:00 pm

About the Role
The After School Mandarin Teacher is a vital part of our school community, carrying out many of the duties necessary for the day-to-day operations of the campus. This position will work as part of a team to develop a plan of instruction appropriate for the elementary students in our immersion program. The emphasis will be on vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This person must be professionally prepared to teach Mandarin to young children.
