Oversee daily operations of warehouse and yard facilities across three locations to ensure efficient material flow for electric distribution systems. Manage a team of warehouse workers and the coordinator while maintaining accurate inventory records and safety compliance.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in utility warehousing, inventory control, or related plant accounting. A high school diploma is required, while an associate or bachelor's degree in business or supply chain is preferred.
South Central Power Company, is seeking an individual to fill the position of Warehouse Manager at our Lancaster office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and yard facilities across our 3 offices – Lancaster, Hillsboro and Barnesville. This role ensures the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials and equipment that support our electric distribution and transmission system. The position also plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting field operations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and RUS requirements.
This position will directly oversee the activities of five (5) Warehouse Workers as well as the Warehouse Coordinator. The Warehouse Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will work out of the main office headquartered in Lancaster, Ohio.
