Perform EEG tests as requested by physicians, including gathering patient history and preparing patients for procedures. Monitor patient status during testing, note abnormalities, and report findings for further analysis.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree in clinical neurophysiology preferred. Candidates must hold an EEG certification and obtain BLS authorization within 90 days of hire.

Gather patient medical history, explain testing procedures and prepare the patient for procedure.
Monitors the patient’s status and notes any abnormalities during testing.
Reports findings to physician once testing is complete for further analysis.
Enters appropriate data in computer modules.
Verifies department inventory levels and reorders additional supplies as needed.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in clinical Neurophysiology preferred.
Experience: Previous healthcare/ EEG experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure: EEG Certification required. Registered EEG Technician preferred. BLS authorization preferred or obtained within 90 days of date of hire.
