Experience in hydropower, pumped storage, power generation, or large infrastructure projects. Minimum 8 years
Experience in electrical inspection and site supervision
Experience with electrical auxiliary systems in power plants
Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems
Experience in installation of MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, and auxiliary equipment
Experience on Owner's Engineer or Supervision Consultant assignments
International hydropower project experience
Conduct daily inspection of electrical auxiliary systems installation works.
Verify compliance of electrical works with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
Inspect installation of transformers, switchgear, batteries, UPS systems, cable trays, lighting systems, grounding systems, and auxiliary equipment.
Witness electrical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
Monitor contractor compliance with quality requirements, inspection and test plans, and approved work methods.
Identify and report non-conforming work, defects, and installation deficiencies.
Participate in site safety inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements.
Verify implementation of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other electrical safety measures.
Maintain inspection records, testing reports, and site documentation.
Assist in reviewing technical submissions, method statements, and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, commissioning engineers, and supervision teams.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning.
Monitor progress of electrical auxiliary works and report schedule concerns.
Assist in system acceptance, handover, and punch-list closure activities.
Perform other duties assigned by the Resident Engineer, Electrical Lead Engineer, or Team Leader.
