Senior Business Development Manager - Benelux at SkinVision

We are looking for an experienced, Dutch-speaking Senior Business Development Manager with a strong track record in acquiring, managing and scaling strategic partnerships in the healthcare space - whether from a commercial role within healthtech or health insurance, a pharmacy background, or a consulting career focused on healthcare clients.

In this role you will own our most strategic partnerships with health insurers in the Netherlands and Belgium = including names like CZ, Zilveren Kruis, Helan and Healis - while simultaneously building new ones from the ground up. You will initially be onboarded and coached by the Business Development Lead for Benelux, who will bring you up to speed on our partners, playbook and strategic approach. Over time you will take full ownership of strategic key account management - leading senior-level partner conversations, driving contract expansions and renewals, and closing new business yourself. As you grow into this, you free up the Lead to focus on broader strategy, making you a true counterpart rather than a support role.

You are the spider in the web: connecting internal teams across product, marketing, medical and customer success with external partners, keeping all the moving parts aligned and moving forward. The role involves occasional travel to partners and prospects across the Benelux. This is a role with real ownership, autonomy and a clear path to strategic partnership leadership - ideal for someone who thrives on getting things done, builds relationships with ease, and wants to grow their strategic impact in a scale-up environment.

What you will do

New Business Development

• Own the full sales cycle for new partnerships end-to-end, from prospecting and first contact through to negotiation and contract signing.

• Build and grow a strong pipeline of new partnerships with insurance companies, understanding their needs and positioning SkinVision as a strategic fit.

• Identify and develop new partnerships with insurance companies, corporates, pharmacy groups and retail pharmacy chains, from initial outreach to signed agreement.

• Craft tailored sales presentations and product demos that speak directly to each partner type's priorities and business model.

• Develop compelling proposals and business cases to support and accelerate partnership deals.

Strategic Account Management

• Own the relationship with our most strategic B2B partners as their primary point of contact on commercial and strategic matters, ensuring a high level of partner satisfaction - day-to-day operational activities are handled in close collaboration with the Customer Success team.

• Build, analyse and deliver regular health impact reporting to partners, showcasing the impact and value of SkinVision's service - tailored to each partner's context and goals. This can also involve developing health economic models together with partners.

• Drive strategic projects with partners - such as reimbursement, joint studies, and access to care initiatives — to integrate SkinVision further into the health system.

• Own and drive joint account plans - initially in close collaboration with the Business Development Lead, growing towards full independent ownership.

• Prepare and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) jointly with Customer Success for key partners, presenting performance data, insights, and growth opportunities.

• Develop compelling business cases and lead the negotiation of contract expansions and renewals with existing partners.

• Handle crisis management when issues arise in the market, ensuring a fast and well-founded response.

Cross-functional & Strategic

• Work closely with customer success, product, marketing, medical and legal teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding, ongoing value delivery, retention and revenue growth initiatives.

• Review and leverage partner data reports - prepared by Customer Success - to identify strategic opportunities, address commercial questions and steer partner conversations.

• Lead senior strategic partner conversations - at first alongside the Business Development Lead, and increasingly independently as you take ownership of your accounts.

• Contribute to shaping the Benelux go-to-market strategy and act as a sparring partner within the team as it grows.

• Keep a close pulse on market trends, competitor moves and developments across insurance and pharmacy to sharpen our go-to-market approach.

• Maintain accurate pipeline, account and activity data in the CRM to support forecasting and team alignment.

Your profile

• A degree in Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences or a related field.

• 5-8+ years of experience in business development and/or account management, ideally within consultancy, insurance, medtech or life sciences - or in a consulting role serving healthcare clients.

• A proven track record of managing complex, strategic B2B partnerships end-to-end, from first conversation to signed contract - including at senior stakeholder level.

• Experience preparing and presenting data-driven reports and business reviews to senior stakeholders.

• Comfortable independently leading senior stakeholder engagements - whether that's driving a C-suite conversation, negotiating a contract, or building a business case from scratch.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English; French is a plus.

• Entrepreneurial mindset: you don't wait for structures to exist - you build them, and you thrive in an environment where not everything is defined yet.

• A natural collaborator who knows how to work across teams (marketing, product, legal, medical) to get things done.

• Strong analytical skills to turn partner data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
