The Opportunity
This is more than just a management role, it’s your chance to shape how the world’s most innovative companies build the future. As the Manager of Forward Deployed Engineering, you won't just oversee tasks; you'll architect high-impact enhancements that drive growth and automate complex workflows across our product. You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values innovation and gives you the autonomy to build real solutions with real impact. If you’re excited by clean code, creative problem-solving, and leading a team to leverage the full potential of the Salesforce platform, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do

You will play a key role in building scalable, user-friendly solutions that power critical business operations while architecting enhancements that drive growth and automate complex workflows. As a hands-on technical expert, you will solve complex technical challenges and leverage the full potential of Force.com to deliver high-impact results. You will manage agile pod velocity and quality by collaborating cross-functionally to design, develop, and optimize custom Salesforce applications that improve how we engage with our customers and drive revenue. Acting as a coach and mentor, you will provide the autonomy and support for your team to build real solutions with real impact, fostering an environment that values innovation and growth. Finally, you will serve as a bridge between technical and business functions, strategizing and analyzing work that shapes the future of the product and the company.

2. Agile Pod Velocity & Quality Management
Manage a high-performing engineering pod, ensuring consistent sprint velocity and on-time delivery of features.
Implement rigorous quality assurance and code review standards to minimize technical debt and deployment errors.
Optimize internal processes and agile methodologies to increase team efficiency and project transparency.
3. Technical Mentorship & "Unblocking" (The "Coach")
Mentor junior and senior engineers, fostering their technical growth and professional development within the FDE organization.
Act as the primary escalation point to resolve complex technical blockers, ensuring the team remains productive and focused.
