The nurse coordinates and oversees patient care during the intraoperative phase of surgery, serving as the patient's advocate. Responsibilities include maintaining sterile techniques, completing preoperative assessments, and collaborating with the surgical team.
Requires an active Pennsylvania RN license and a minimum of one year of OR circulating experience. BLS certification is required, while ACLS and Ambulatory Surgery Center experience are preferred.
The Per Diem Circulating OR Nurse is responsible for coordinating and overseeing patient care throughout the intraoperative phase of surgery. The RN will serve as the patient's advocate in the operating room, ensure compliance with sterile technique and safety standards, and work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
