The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care and monitors the physical and emotional needs of patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include maintaining medical records, providing clerical support, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a psychiatric or substance use facility. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred along with familiarity with medical and psychiatric terminology.
