Dietary Aide Responsibilities
Assists cooks with preparation of meals following federal, state and local regulations.
Serves residents meals in a timely fashion.
Works well in a team environment.
Maintains kitchen standards and expectations.
Delivers and picks-up tray carts to dining area for meal service.
Performs dish-washing procedures, including pots and pans and all equipment, operates commercial dish machine.
Sets up for next meal.
Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages times efficiently and effectively, promotes a team approach.
Dietary Aide Requirements
High school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applicants must be able to work day and evening shifts as well as be available to work weekends.
1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or healthcare facility is preferred.
