The Class B Lineman performs construction, maintenance, and repair of power, transmission, and distribution lines. They work on energized primary lines and install sectionalizing devices under the supervision of higher-level personnel.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience as a Lineman C or equivalent field training. A CDL Class A license is preferred, and the role requires the ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions and pass drug and background screenings.
