The technician is responsible for repairing and refinishing damaged vehicle body parts according to factory specifications. This includes performing welding, alignment, and diagnostics while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Candidates must be able to use hand and power tools and follow technical bulletins and safety regulations. A valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record are required for driving company or customer vehicles.
Serra Ford Farmington Hills is seeking a dedicated Body Shop Technician to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. In this role, the technician repairs and refinishes damaged vehicle body parts and bodies in accordance with factory and dealership specifications using hand tools, power tools, and spray-painting equipment. The technician will also perform dealer prep work.
