Manage the acquisition of city, county, and state permits for R&D commercial facilities while ensuring compliance with building, fire, and safety regulations. Act as the primary liaison between the company, contractors, and government agencies to oversee facility renovations and expansions.
Requires over 5 years of experience managing commercial building permits, specifically within California municipalities. Candidates should have strong knowledge of building codes and experience supporting laboratory or engineering R&D facilities.
We are seeking a Facilities Contractor to support the operation and maintenance of our office and R&D facilities in Milpitas, CA. This role will assist with facility maintenance, vendor coordination, office improvements, and general facility-related projects as needed.

Seres Therapeutics is a commercial-stage company developing novel microbiome therapeutics for serious diseases. Our lead program, VOWST™, obtained U.S. FDA approval in April 2023 as the first orally administered microbiota-based therapeutic to prevent recurrence of C. difficile infection (CDI) in adults following antibacterial treatment for recurrent CDI and is being commercialized in collaboration with Nestlé Health Science. We are evaluating SER-155 in a Phase 1b study in patients receiving allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation to reduce incidences of gastrointestinal infections, bloodstream infections, and graft-versus-host disease as well as additional preclinical stage programs targeting Infection Protection in medically compromised patients.
