Lead and grow a mixed-discipline team of software and firmware developers while remaining hands-on with technical architecture and design reviews. Partner with the CTO to manage technical strategy, product delivery, and certification efforts for safety-critical maritime equipment.
Proven experience leading a technical team with a balance of hands-on technical work and people management. Experience in a regulated, safety-critical, or certification-driven industry is highly preferred.

The role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a mixed-discipline team of software developers, reporting directly to the CTO. This is a role for someone who wants to stay technically engaged while growing as a leader — expect a roughly even split between hands-on technical work and people management.
