Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems to ensure facility operationality. Duties include managing boilers, HVAC systems, and performing general grounds maintenance such as snow plowing and landscaping.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related trade. Must possess a valid driver's license and complete specific safety certifications including OSHA 10 and Lockout Tagout within 90 days.

Operates and maintains all facility-related equipment, systems, structures, etc., and is responsible for keeping the mechanical systems operating safely and at peak performance through maintenance, repairs and making the required adjustments. This position is also responsible for new installations and renovation work. The position must be available for rotating on-call and call back work when needed and may travel to outlying communities to perform work.SEARHC is a non-profit health consortium which serves the health interests of the residents of Southeast Alaska.
