Candidates must hold a full VIC driver's licence and be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening, working with children check, and first aid/CPR certification. A Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent is highly desirable.

Position Details
Position: Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q)
Employment type: Casual
Location: Wangaratta, VIC
Availability: Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepover shifts.
About You
Provide person-centred support to help customers achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
Support customers with daily living activities, personal care, health routines and community access.
Follow support plans, behaviour support strategies and safety procedures.
Use calm communication and positive approaches when responding to behaviours of concern.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Be reliable, patient and committed to delivering high-quality support.
Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalence) is highly desirable
Full VIC Driver's Licence
You must have or be willing to obtain:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Working with Children Check
First Aid and CPR
Full VIC Driver’s licence
International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
