About the role?
We are currently seeking an experienced and people-focused Service Manager - Existing Installations (EI) to join our Service team based in Port Melbourne. Reporting to the EI Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Service Technicians, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of maintenance and service operations across a portfolio of existing installations.
This role is responsible for driving operational performance, customer satisfaction, financial outcomes and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You will play a critical role in building strong customer relationships, reducing downtime, improving service delivery and fostering a high-performing team culture.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading and developing a team of Service Technicians.
Managing maintenance operations and service delivery.
Monitoring financial, operational and productivity targets.
Allocating resources to maintenance, call-backs and shutdowns.
Driving service quality and continuous improvement.
Building strong customer relationships and resolving issues.
Managing employee performance, training and development.
Promoting safety and ensuring compliance with company standards.
What we are looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience in the lift industry, building maintenance services or a similar technical service environment.
Proven leadership experience managing field-based service or maintenance teams.
Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and deliver positive outcomes.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret operational data and drive improvements.
Sound knowledge of maintenance contracts, service operations and workforce planning.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and business management systems.
Current Class C Driver's Licence.
A degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Technical Services or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
