Job Purpose
The job is to make and prepare busbars for electrical systems so they can safely carry and distribute high current. This usually includes reading drawings, cutting, bending, drilling or punching, assembling, and checking the finished parts for accuracy and quality.
Main Responsibilities
Reading the production drawing
Preparing list of busbar, sizes and quantity
Preparing list Hardware and insulators
Cutting the busbar as per the production drawing
Punching the busbar as per physical measurement taken after installing horizontal busbar
Bending the busbar as per the distance of main to branches
Take the measurement of busbars connecting with the load
Joining all busbar with right hardware
Do the torquing for the joints
Preparing link for load connections
Assembling neutral & earth busbar as per the production drawing
Terminating all busbar as per the production drawing
Checking the joints and connection Before doing QC Routing test
Requesting required materials to supervisor as per Bill of Materials
HSE Responsibilities
Adhere to follow all company Quality, Health, Safety, And Environmental (QHSE) policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Promptly identify and report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses to the appropriate supervisor or QHSE team.
Properly use, maintain, and store personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools as required by the job.
Attend and actively participate in mandatory Safety inductions, HSE trainings, safety meetings, emergency drills and root cause investigations.
Follow established emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans, fire response, and first aid if trained.
Follow protocols to minimize environmental impact, including proper waste disposal and reporting spills or leaks.
Provide suggestions to enhance Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and take responsibility and initiatives for continual improvement.
Qualifications & Relevant Certifications
At least a Mechanical trade certificate from the concerned vocational educational authority of the respective country

Knowledge Skills & Experience
Sound Mechanical & Technical skills.
Proficient in reading Electrical and Mechanical Production drawings.
Ability to read shop drawing, production drawing and customer comments
Ability to accurate measurement of busbar and suggestion suitable hardware
Ability to understand to use torque as per the Electrical Standard.
Knowledge in arranging the busbar support as per KIAC rating in production drawings
Practical knowledge of clearance and creepage of busbar
Shall be careful to avoid wastage of busbars
Minimum of 3 years pertinent experience.
