Lead and oversee the Life Enrichment Department across Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing to promote resident well-being. Develop and implement person-centered programs while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with at least three years of experience in senior living or long-term care. Candidates should possess leadership experience and knowledge of dementia care programming and regulatory standards.
Description
The Life Enrichment Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the Life Enrichment Department for Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. This position develops, implements, and evaluates person-centered programs that promote residents' seven dimensions well-being (including intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, vocational, emotional, and environmental) while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. The Life Enrichment Supervisor provides direct supervision to department staff, fosters meaningful resident engagement, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote well-being and quality of life for residents throughout the continuum of care.
Requirements
· Required to conduct indoor and outdoor activities in a variety of climates.
· Continuous exposure to residents and others who may have contagious illness(es), are confused, or in distress.
