The field technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting LED displays and scoreboards during home basketball games. They will also manage game presentations and ensure all equipment functions correctly before, during, and after events.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess strong communication and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in the Windows operating system is required, while experience with LED displays or audio-visual systems is considered a plus.

Summary/Objective
This is a part-time, contract position. The contract will be from mid-september to mid-march annually.
The part-time field technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment used in men and women’s home basketball games at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. This person is responsible for ensuring equipment functions properly before, during and after events and will be on-site for each men and women’s home basketball game. This person will be trained in Motion Rocket to download content and put together game presentations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, hours of work will vary and are dependent on the University basketball game schedule. This position requires evening and/or weekend work.
