The BHT provides direct care, supervision, and support to clients in residential or outpatient recovery settings. Key duties include monitoring client behavior, documenting observations, and assisting with therapeutic activities and crisis situations.
Candidates must have a valid BHT certification or 4 years of recovery field experience, along with CPR/First Aid and a current TB test. A Fingerprint Clearance Card and passing a background check, drug screening, and APS registry check are mandatory.
