The Staff Nurse manages patient care through the implementation of the nursing process and supervises licensed and unlicensed personnel. They are responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary care and managing patient assignments in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse license along with AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. One year of recent acute care nursing experience is preferred, and the role requires the ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
