The Specialty Business Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives for specialty products within a defined territory by identifying new business opportunities. This role involves conducting in-person sales calls, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 5 years of technical sales experience and a 4-year degree. The role requires the ability to travel up to 60% of the time and residency within the assigned territory.

Sagent is seeking a Specialty Business Manager for the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee territory. Residing in the territory is required.
The Specialty Business Manager is responsible for the achievement of Sagent Specialty Product sales objectives in their defined territory, with an emphasis on the current lead products. A successful candidate will define and identify new business opportunities and function in and contribute to the overall team success. This includes achieving assigned sales goals, providing excellent customer service, distributor vendor management and all appropriate administrative duties.
This role has a base salary, earns quarterly commissions based on performance and has a monthly car allowance.
The successful candidate will develop and manage a territory selling Sagent Specialty Products to the hospital, clinic, physician offices and surgery centers. A knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations, Distributor Vendors, and clinical sales to physicians is highly desired.
