The Senior Accountant maintains accurate financial records, manages month-end and year-end close processes, and ensures compliance with GAAP and grant requirements. They provide critical financial analysis and support audits to maintain the financial integrity of the health center.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least four years of progressive accounting experience. Proficiency in GAAP, advanced Excel, and experience with payroll and cash management are required.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial health of a growing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys meaningful work, complex healthcare finance, and the ability to make a direct impact on community health. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and grant requirements, and providing financial analysis to support organizational decision-making. You will work closely with leadership, auditors, and operational departments to ensure financial integrity and accountability.
