About the Project: PANKH
Early Childhood Development (ECD) is a key thematic focus area of Saajha. To facilitate cross-learning and sharing of best practices and implementation approaches on ECD, Saajha is collaborating with like-minded organizations to strengthen the ECD ecosystem through ECD Project - PANKH.

Reporting: The lead- Knowledge Management, Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation shall have direct reporting to the National Weaver, guided by the Shared Leadership Council (SLC), specifically to the Convenor and Co-Convenors. The position shall work closely with the member organisations, including Secretariat & Host organisation
Position Overview: We seek a detailed oriented, agile Knowledge Management, learning, Monitoring and Evaluation Lead, to support the India ECD collective (which includes the Shared Leadership Council - SLC, working groups, member organizations, and the convenors and co-convenors of the Collective) in supporting the working groups in co-creating & implementing a robust monitoring, learning and sharing system. The ideal candidate will work closely with the National Weaver in supporting the strategic growth of the Collective’s functioning, while building a Knowledge repository and strategies for continued learning and growth. This is a two-year position, expected to grow and expand along with the Collective.
Requirements
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Defining Indicators of success for India ECD Project-PANKH: The Lead, KMLME shall work closely with the National Weaver, Convenors and Co-convenors as well as the SLC to develop the LOG Frame, that includes key outcome indicators at the Project-PANKH, as well as the thematic areas of the collective
Building a Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE): Guided by the SLC, design, test and implement LME systems for tracking progress at the collective as well as working group level. As well as relevant experts and funder organizations. Support organizations in using (documenting & reporting) through these systems.
Building Capacities: Through a consultative process, identify gaps in capacities and implement a calendar of training for the member and member organizations accordingly. Along with the experts (as identified by the funders) conduct/facilitate relevant capacity building sessions.
Measuring Outcomes to integrate learning into ongoing work: Ensure regular review of Project-PANKH-wide impact and learning agendas, and draw insights to produce learning papers. Build capacities of the members in gathering the insights and applying it within the working group, as well as at the Project-PANKH and at the organizational levels.
Designing appropriate learning tools: Along with the working groups design qualitative as well as quantitative assessment frameworks, tools and co-design studies to capture learnings.
Communicating & Sharing the findings: Work closely with the Associates, and the Narrative Working group using evidence and learning from the Collective actions to visualise insights for learnings. Support working groups in expanding learnings across thematic areas.
Leading Third Party Evaluations: Identify opportunities/scope for funding to undertake third party evaluation to assess impact of specific initiatives of the India ECD Project-PANKH.
Reporting: Co-create monitoring & reporting templates that capture the Seeing, Being, Doing of the India ECD Project-PANKH and facilitate reporting to the donors/SLC. Co-create learning reports, and share existing studies to support growth of the collective.
Any other emerging responsibilities that open up as the Project-PANKH evolves over this period
Qualifications:
Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Economics/Statistics, Public Administration, Management or any other related field.
Experience: 10-12 years of experience in designing and delivering M&E strategies and tools. Experience in Knowledge Management/LME systems, using data tools, familiarity with data visualisation tools, AI, chatbots and other relevant platforms for this purpose are required

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Deep understanding of the development sector, particularly in Early Childhood Development or related fields.
