As the expeditor you will work closely with customer service and plant superintendents. You will provide information to our customer service representatives on the status of orders in the plant. You will also inform plant personnel on priorities of specific orders as well as monitoring off schedule pieces.

Essential Duties

Run off schedule reports daily
Monitor off schedule reports and inform departments of late pieces
Communicate delays to customer service representatives
Monitor “Rush List” and inform departments of prioritized orders
Note problems in SAP
Answer customer service questions accurately and promptly
Other duties as assigned

QualificationsPosition Requirements

Strong communication skills are a must
Strong computer skills are a must
Knowledge of SAP is preferred
Furniture manufacturing knowledge is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
