The role involves assembling components and sub-systems for production builds and coordinating machine shop operations including 3D printing. The engineer will also design test fixtures, perform soldering, and execute product testing to support manufacturing efforts.
A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering is required for this recent graduate position. Proficiency with shop tools, CAD software, and technical troubleshooting is highly desired.
Description
RIVANNA is seeking a talented and motivated recent graduate to join our team to contribute to our
developing product line. You will work hands-on across our manufacturing line, supporting the team as
we bring products from development into manufacturing. It's a collaborative, multidisciplinary role
alongside our mechanical and electrical engineering teams. This is a temporary position expected to
continue through September 2026. Based on business needs, RIVANNA may, at its sole discretion,
extend the duration of the position beyond September 2026. Employment remains at-will and may be
terminated by either the employee or RIVANNA at any time, with or without cause or advance notice,
subject to applicable law. Applicants must be local to the Charlottesville, VA area or willing to relocate at
their own expense by the anticipated start date, as relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future
sponsorship. RIVANNA is unable to provide employment sponsorship for this position.
