The Front Desk Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients, managing reception, check-in, and appointment scheduling. They are also responsible for administrative tasks such as insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining clinic records in compliance with HIPAA.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, with an associate degree or certificate in medical office administration preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with practice management software like Athena are required.
