You will provide person-centred support to young adults with autism and learning disabilities, helping them develop independence and life skills. Responsibilities include administering medication, reviewing care plans, and assisting with community activities and personal care.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience as a Support Worker and be confident working with young adults with complex needs. A valid driver's license is required, and the role is restricted to female applicants as a genuine occupational requirement.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll help create a safe, nurturing and structured home where young adults develop independence, confidence and life skills — leading shifts and supporting the team, administering medication safely, reviewing care plans and risk assessments, supporting personal care where needed, and helping young adults access hobbies, community activities and new experiences. No two days are ever the same, but every day is meaningful.
About you
You’ll be a great fit if you have at least a year’s experience as a Support Worker, are confident supporting young adults with autism or complex needs, and have a genuine passion for improving their lives. Experience in promoting independence and daily living skills is desirable, and you must be able to drive.

We have also recently opened a new service for young adults called The Porthouse. Established in 2011 Reamcare has created 3 specially adapted homes in south west London. It's our mission to provide the most effective and understanding level of care from our South West London locations. We support children and young people with autism and multiple learning disabilities, as well as those with behavioural problems. Our needs-led services give young people a voice and support them to achieve their goals, dreams and aspirations Each service is staffed by a team of experienced, dedicated and fully-trained support workers. We combine this professional experience with a family perspective to create a dynamic service that strives to offer children and young people with learning disabilities better outcomes and wider horizons.
