Location: Radius Baycare, 361 Puketona Rd, Haruru Falls, Paihia

Hours of work: 6.5 hours per week (Monday from 4pm to 8pm, and Sunday 4pm to 6.30pm)

Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for this role. Applicants must be residing in New Zealand. Visa-holders must have a current visa with open work rights and preferably at least 6 months left until expiry.

About the role:

Gain valuable experience working closely with our kitchen team. Assist with the meal service and providing nutritious, well-presented meals to our residents. Aid the kitchen team to provide a hygienic work environment. Assume responsibility for cleaning food prep equipment and utensils. Report any faulty equipment to the Cook.

Duties include:

• Ensuring utensils and equipment are clean, and stored safely and correctly

• General kitchen duties, including dishwashing

• Maintaining infection control principles

• Handling, labelling, and storing chemicals correctly

• Meeting timetables
