We are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead one of our core software teams.
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on:
Growing and developing engineers

Aligning execution across multiple teams
You will operate at the heart of our engineering organisation, partnering with Product, Principal Engineers, Infrastructure teams, and peer Engineering Managers to deliver systems that power AI at scale.
Build and develop a strong engineering team
Provide individual contributors with structured coaching and feedback, enabling career progression
Maintain high standards while fostering trust and autonomy
Hire and scale the team as we grow
Translate roadmap priorities into clear execution plans
Ensure strong sprint cadence and continuous improvement
Manage risks and dependencies proactively
Ensure production-grade quality in every release
Reinforce strong discipline in testing, CI/CD, and observability
Partner with Principal Engineers on architecture, providing leadership and guidance where appropriate
Encourage ownership and reliability-first thinking
Ensure technical debt is addressed responsibly
Bring security to the forefront of all our deliveries
Collaborate closely with peer Engineering Managers
Surface cross-team dependencies early
Support consistent engineering standards across teams
Represent your team clearly in leadership discussions
Work in lock step with Product and Customer teams to ensure delivery alignment
Strong software engineering background
Experience leading or mentoring engineers
Experience delivering distributed or cloud-native systems
Comfort working in high-growth, evolving environments
Strong communication and alignment skills
Ability to balance delivery pace with long-term system health
Experience with AI infrastructure, GPU platforms, Kubernetes, or multi-tenant systems is a strong plus.

Radiant Labs has built a sophisticated software platform for cities, utilities, and contractors to target ideal candidates for home energy upgrades, fuel switching, and renewable energy installations. Our software aggregates assessor, building permit, rooftop solar potential, utility bill, manufacturing, and energy program data to generate an hourly energy model and anticipated replacement timelines for equipment within each building in a given territory. The Radiant Labs analytics engine is currently deployed in cities and states across the US as a marketing and planning tool that helps them forecast future transformations in their building stock as well as determine which neighborhoods or individual homes are the best opportunities for selective marketing. In addition, our forthcoming Homeowner Roadmap Tool will allow homeowners to build their own projects and model the economic outcomes of deep energy retrofits with electrification and renewables. Homeowners can search for contractors and request bids for each individual trade or to select an all in one contractor who can do the entire project. Contractors can submit bids and help the homeowner configure the details on the project to update the financial model. Lastly, the tool is designed to be the perfect companion for energy auditors and advisors who have completed the Building Performance Institute's Home Decarbonization Specialist certificate program, enabling them to design and manage comprehensive deep home energy retrofit projects. Radiant Labs co-founders Jeff Friesen, Ben Mailian, and Adam Stenftenagel, are also the co-founders of Snugg Home whose software Snugg Pro is highly regarded by Home Performance contractors throughout the country as the premier energy auditing and sales tool.
