The Service Advisor is responsible for greeting customers, scheduling appointments, and accurately reporting vehicle symptoms. They manage the repair process by providing cost estimates and keeping customers updated on their vehicle's progress.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a service department and a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in automotive knowledge and basic computer skills is required to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly
Obtain customer and vehicle information
Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
Establish follow up time
Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Service Advisor Requirements:
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
Very energetic personality
A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
Personal and professional integrity
Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Minimum of 1 year in service department
Basic computer skills
Positive, friendly attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
