The specimen preparation technician is responsible for performing assigned laboratory processes and data entry tasks while maintaining a professional and collaborative environment. They must ensure all duties are completed accurately and safely within a biohazard production setting.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of clinical laboratory experience and the ability to perform 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes per hour. Proficiency in basic PC software and knowledge of medical terminology are also required or preferred.
