The technician is responsible for performing all functions of cytopreparation under general supervision. They report directly to the Cytology Prep Team Leader or Manager to ensure accurate specimen processing.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and current state licensure is necessary if applicable. Preferred candidates have one year of experience in Anatomic Pathology.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Under general supervision, the position is proficient in all of the functions required of the Assistant Cytopreparatory Technician. They are directly responsible for decision making, interacting, and reporting to the Cytology Prep Team Leader/Supervisor and/or Manager.
