Perform comprehensive painting and wall finishing tasks, including surface preparation, color mixing, and installation of wall coverings. Maintain product inventory and conduct inspections and maintenance of rated walls within a healthcare environment.
Requires 4 years of Journeyman level experience in a similar environment. Must be proficient in using basic painter tools across various mediums such as wood, metal, and plastics.

Painter tasks include, but are not limited to: floor, wall and ceiling surface, maintenance and installation, preparation, painting, color matching/mixing, tape/mud/finish wallboard, wall covering and cove base. Surface preparation and painting of mechanical system components. Make recommendations during design or diagnostics, maintain proper inventory of products used within the Painting Discipline. Rated wall inspection and maintenance. Utilizing all basic painter tools and equipment, working with a variety of mediums (wallboard, wood, metal, plastics). Demo of walls and casework required as needed.
