Why This Role Is Different

IM8 is scaling fast across APAC, and the way people experience our brand in real life - at events, activations, and inside our community - is how we turn curiosity into loyalty. As our Event & Community Intern, you won't be watching from the sidelines; you'll be in the room helping our events come to life and helping our community feel genuinely looked after. It's a rare chance to learn how a fast-moving health brand actually builds its audience, hands-on, from day one.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Event & Community Intern - IM8, based in Hong Kong (on-site), to support our events and community team across activations, launches, partnerships, and day-to-day community engagement. You'll help plan and run events, keep our community warm and responsive, and capture the moments that make IM8 feel alive. Your mandate: help every person who meets IM8 - in person or online - walk away feeling something.

What You'll Do

Event Support

• Help plan and coordinate events, activations, pop-ups, and partnership moments - logistics, vendors, samples, RSVPs, and run-of-show.

• Provide hands-on support on-site: setup, guest experience, sampling, and pack-down.

• Track event details meticulously so nothing slips - guest lists, deliveries, timelines.

Content & Coordination

• Capture photo and video content at events for social and community use.

• Help with general coordination and admin support for the events and community calendar.

What We're Looking For

• A current student or recent graduate wanting hands-on experience in events, community, marketing, or brand.Genuinely warm and people-first - you love making others feel welcome.

• Organised and detail-oriented - you follow through, and nothing slips.

• Proactive and hungry - you spot what needs doing and do it without being asked.

• Comfortable communicating in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin a strong plus for local events and community.

• Available to work on-site in Hong Kong, including the occasional evening or weekend event.

Non-Negotiable

You show up, you follow through, and you sweat the details - at an event, "close enough" is the difference between a great moment and an awkward one.

Nice to Have

• Experience running a student club, society, or your own community/social account.

• A basic eye for content (phone photo/video, Canva, CapCut).

• Genuine interest in health, wellness, fitness, or longevity.
