The Facilities Officer oversees office spaces and services to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient work environment across all locations. Key duties include managing commercial leases, vendor contracts, and implementing Occupational Health and Safety standards.
Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in facilities management and building operations, preferably with a bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in OHS regulations, project management, and financial budgeting is required.
The Prairie Payments Joint Venture (PPJV) is a joint venture owned by three Prairie centrals created to digitally transform and modernize payment services for credit unions in the Prairies. PPJV’s goal is to ensure prairie credit unions are competitive in payments and have access to efficient, modernized payments processing infrastructure. PPJV invites candidates to apply from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
At Prairie Payments Joint Venture, the Facilities Officer is responsible for ensuring the office spaces and services meet the needs of our employees across the organization’s facilities. The role is responsible for overseeing the rented workspaces at PPJV locations and ensure the work environment is safe, functional, efficient, and aligned with business objectives, while maintaining regulatory compliance and sustainability standards. The Facilities Officer will drive excellence in the implementation of best practices in facilities operations and ensuring PPJV is following Occupational Health and Safety standards across facilities. This position is a single contributor role and works in the Calgary office.
