Responsible for scoping, planning, and developing conceptual engineering designs to optimize port assets and facilities. The role involves managing the Planning Officer and coordinating the drafting Officer while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a Queensland C Class Driver's Licence, and a National Police Check. Candidates must be eligible for membership with the Institute of Engineers Australia and obtain RPEQ registration within 12 months.
The Port Planning and Development Engineer is responsible for the scoping, planning, and development of conceptual plans and engineering designs to optimise the Port’s current and future assets and facilities. The Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan and execute port development initiatives, while considering environmental impacts, regulatory compliance, and economic factors. Port Planning and Development Engineer is also required to manage the Planning Officer and coordinate activities of the drafting Officer.
Annual Salary of $162,801.46 - $172,174.56 (excluding Super)
