We are seeking a Sales Representatives based in Cape Town. As a Sales Representative you will assist sales inquiries. You will be supporting end users and your team during customer service-related activities as well as interacting directly with customers in order to provide recommendations and help guide the sales process. The ability to effectively communicate via phone and email is of the utmost importance. Your focus to complete your tasks accurately and deliver high quality service in a timely manner is a primary function of your job. Your overall goal is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction rates.
Duties
Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally. Complete fact finds with customers when necessary to understand the customers’ needs and requirements.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotations and visualsfor customers based on their requirement. Identify potential opportunities to upsell and cross sell with every customer. Recommend our best-selling products, offer additional products and price breaks.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the quotation and artwork process, including correct item quoting, supplier selection, and appropriate markup.
Proactivity touch base with customers on a regular basis with the view to build customer accounts. Convert leads into sales handling potential objects which may arise.
Continuously update and maintain product and supplier knowledge,staying informed about pricing, bestselling products, upcoming events and changes in offerings
Monitor and track quotation metrics, including the number of leads quoted and the quality of quotes, to meet or exceed targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, procurement, and marketing, to gather necessary information to maximise the potential on every lead
Requirements
Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a related industry.
Proficient in using quotation and CRM software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking to ensure accurate pricing and markup.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Display polite and professional communication via phone, chat and email at all times. Ensuring customer satisfaction is key.
Understanding of sales techniques and methodologies.
